KINCS Smart Family Festival: results announced in the competition for startups supporting Hungarian families
On 25 November 2021, the KINCS Smart Family startup competition was closed with an award ceremony and festival at Millenáris: 44 out of 80 applicants made it to the final, 17 of them were awarded by the jury. The grand prizes and special prizes were awarded to companies offering smart solutions that make everyday life easier for families. The festival featured presentations from all the finalists and valuable expert roundtable discussions on the connection between families and innovation.
As a unique initiative even at international level, the Kopp Mária Institute for Population and Families (KINCS) opened a Family Innovation Centre on 15 May 2021, the International Day of Families.The KINCS Smart Family Centre works in cooperation with economic and social organisations to create more and more valuable, innovative and smart solutions for families in Hungary. The Centre has launched the KINCS Smart Family Grand Prize 2021 competition, inviting applications from start-ups that make life easier for families and help them to improve their well-being and prosperity.
Innovation has gained attention in almost all domains of life, so it is essential for Hungarian families to have access to modern, smart solutions. The KINCS Smart Family Centre was created to create a platform that supports and catalyses developments that make life more convenient for families. By supporting smart solutions from Hungarian start-ups, the KINCS Smart Family Grand Prix 2021 start-up competition has helped to bring more innovation to the lives of families.
